To celebrate the first annual Sponfest, we'll be kicking off the week by pouring the finest lambic's on keg, with beers from Cantillon, Tilquin, Girardin & Oud Beersel on all night (or until they run out...) 

The Kings Arms will be featuring lambics all week including many tasting and bottle pour events.Check out the blog for further details.

AN EVENING WITH THE KERNEL + PRIMEUR
FRIDAY 20th APRIL @ THE MERMAID

An evening of rare Kernel barrel-aged saisons, and traditional fermented foods from Jack Sorrell - head chef of Primeur.

From 7pm join Ben & Tanya from the Kernel as they take us through a tasting of five Biere de Saisons from the bottle. Spaces for the tasting are limited to 30 people and will be first come first served. Price is £10.

Throughout the evening we will also be serving Kernel keg beers at the bar, which is free and open to the public.

FERMENTED FARMER'S MARKET

A fermented farmers market, featuring local produce from local producers. Sandwiches from Dusty Knuckle, salami and meats from Cobble Lane, pickles and ferments from Eaten Alive and Kefir from Ferment Revolution.
There will also be a full tap takeover from some of the best wild and mixed fermented brewers - check out the list below.

A celebration of British wild fermentation and barrel-ageing innovations, including the Tempus Project from Beavertown, the blends and barrels of Burning Sky, and Tom Oliver, one of the world's most celebrated cider-makers.

Tom Oliver will also be hosting an exclusive cider tasting from 2pm, limited to 12 people only.
