Fermented Farmers Market @ The Axe

A love-in for all things fermented, on Saturday 21st April The Axe will have a market showcasing local producers along with a joint tap-takeover and meet the brewer from some of the best mixed and wild fermented beer and cider in the UK.
From 11am you will be able to peruse, nosh and booze on good things from the following…

Dusty Knuckle
These Dalston-based baking mavens have been spreading the love of all things flour-based and fermented since 2014, producing exceptional organic sourdough, pastries and knock-out sandwiches from their bakery and café space. They will be rocking up with their wares and serving banging sandwiches throughout the afternoon.

Cobble Lane Cured
Rare breed British meat is cured without chemical additives into delicious charcuterie from an arch in Islington.

Eaten Alive
Wild-fermentation obsessives Pat and Glyn teamed up to follow their passions to perfect their lacto-fermented vegetable goods. Outstanding krauts and kimchi’s have resulted, along with fermented chilli sauce amongst other good things.

Ferment Revolution
SCOBY! (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) - water-kefir grains are one of these, they are very special, and are of mysterious origin. They create delicious and most healthful sparkling beverages. North-Londoners Ferment Revolution will be bringing their flavoured kefirs to give you a much needed Saturday morning boost of fermented energy to kick start the day of drinking that lies ahead..
